Meet Our Coaches

Charlie Dinnel

Head Coach

Charlie is the Head Coach for Omaha Eagles Lacrosse. He is our club Founder and President of the Board Of Directors. Charlie is also a level 3 certified coach through USA Lacrosse. Charlie never played lacrosse, he got involved in the game in 2014 all thanks to a Disney movie. His daughter saw lacrosse in the movie and wanted to try it out. When his wife found Omaha Lacrosse Club, she encouraged him to coach since the coach’s kid played for free, figuring if their daughter didn’t like it, they wouldn’t be out much money. Their daughter liked Lacrosse and after that first year of coaching, Charlie developed a passion for lacrosse and coaching. He took it upon himself to learn everything he could about the women’s game and player development. While he doesn’t know it all, he loves the challenge of learning the game and developing his Lacrosse skills so he can transfer those skills to the players he coaches.

After the 2018 Spring Season at Omaha Lacrosse Club, Charlie and his daughter joined Westside Warriors Girls Lacrosse where he served as Offensive Coordinator for the Warriors in the spring of 2019. During this same time, he started the Omaha Central Girls Lacrosse Club, now known as Omaha Eagles Lacrosse. Charlie and Coach Jenna Saraka led Central Eagles Girls Lacrosse to a 2 and 3 record in their inaugural “exploratory” season.

Coach Charlie is a partner/owner of 402 FORCE Lacrosse. Through this venture, he delivers private and group training to youth, high school, and college, lacrosse athletes with a focus on the women’s game. He’s also Omaha’s “go to” for women’s stringing services.
